Read More Here Cover the Need - 09/29/08 Just a small reminder, this Friday Oct. 3rd is the last day to turn in blankets for the California Homeless. We have collected numerous blankets and people have answered the call. We still need more, so continue to turn in blankets. Here are some guidelines to follow: 1. If you can afford it, buy a new blanket (Hint: Blankets are cheap at Walmart only $4) 2. You can turn in used blankets, make sure their in good condition 3. We mainly want blankets, clothing is not a need right now 4. Turn in blankets at youth service on FRIDAY NIGHT - OCTOBER 3RD Thanks guys and continue the great work. A Letter From the Heart - 09/24/08 Last week on Friday, I had a chance to talk to the youth about some recent decisions that me and wife made. [CLICK HERE TO READ LETTER] The Biggest Loser (recap) - 09/24/08 Well, the contest is still on Juan and Carlos are still working to lose weight. Carlos is doing a great job by losing 9 lbs. in his first week. Juan was weighed in at 224.5 lbs. and didn't lose a lb. So far Carlos is way ahead and Juan has a lot of work to do. People have asked why are we raising money? We are planning a community event and we want this activity to be FREE for those that out. We plan a job fair for those that need jobs, FREE food, FREE games and prizes for children, and FREE music, plus more. This event is important towards our efforts of connecting the church and the community of Kissimmee. God & Film - 09/24/08 Hello thelivingyouth peoples, just stopping to direct your attention to our God & Film page. We are planning a movie preview on Oct. 10 after the youth service. The will start at 8:45p (run time 1 hr. and 40 mins). The movie is called "Finger of God". An amazing movie of the miracles around the world and how God is using his power to preach the Gospel. This is a must see. (Watch the trailer here) America's Got Talent - 09/23/08 Great news guys, some new faces will soon appear on our stage Friday nights. We got four new singers added to our youth worship team.
